Bringing Theatre to the People of Wirral

Getting Involved

What’s the best way to get into Riverside Players?

Just come along and meet us. We are usually rehearsing three times a week - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in Richmond Hall. Occasionally over holidays there are periods when we do not rehearse so send us an email first. We will confirm times and make sure someone is there to welcome you.

Is Riverside Players suitable for all ages?

Yes definitely. We have members of all ages, backgrounds and interests, including families. We have a long standing tradition of encouraging younger or more inexperienced actors to fulfil their potential.

I don’t want to act. Is there any point in joining ?

There most certainly is a place for you. Many of our members support productions backstage with props, set building, lighting, sound prompting and stage management. We also need people who are willing to become Front of House Staff helping with ticket and programme sales,as well as ushering on theatre nights. By becoming a member of Riverside Players not only will you be part of the drama but you can also enjoy taking part in our social events.

I don’t want to join but I would like to support Riverside Players.

You can still get involved by becoming a patron of Riverside Players. This entitles you to tickets for our four major productions and guarantees you the exclusive right to reserved seating. If you represent a local business and would like to consider the benefits of sponsorship or advertising in our programmes then contact us.

There is something for everyone at Riverside so come along and give it a go!
